Feliway, also known as Comfort Zone New 75 mL bottle for same price! Feliway spray can help stop cat spraying. Both male and female cats, because of hormonal and behavior problems, can start spraying urine on objects or areas. Feliway contains pheromone-like substances which discourages this behavior when it is applied to the area the pet has sprayed. One depression of the Feliway pheromone spray nozzle should be applied approximately 4″ from the site, 8″ from the floor. Only one spray per application site is necessary. This product had zero effect on my dog’s behavior. Some people may have good luck with it, but my dog prefered to use it as a chew toy.
5 Stars Noticable Difference
I bought this to eliminate my male rottie from lifting his leg in the house. I have used it for 3 days and no accidents from him. To those who say it doesn’t work I am wondering if your square footage in your home is too large. Remember it is for 500-650 sq ft. I also think it doesn’t hurt to put another in the area either. The price is awesome compared to the vet at $40. I am definitely purchasing another because I have multiple dogs.

3 Stars Didn’t work for our dog, alas
We have a rescued dog who has turned out to have severe separation anxiety, so we’re trying many different things to help him. We read all the reviews of this product and hoped it would help our dog — but unfortunately, it hasn’t made a difference for him. That doesn’t mean it’s not a good product, though — from the research we did, it IS helpful to many of the dogs out there, even though it hasn’t helped ours. Our advice would be to try it and see whether it helps your dog or not — it may be the answer for you, the only way to know is to try.
1 Star not for my crazy pup
My dog is sweet, yet acutely insane… She barks at the slightest sound. She’s easily startled- which leads to loud relentless barking. Bark collars didn’t work, so I needed something else. My vet recommended I try this. I bought the diffuser to give it a try. One of the reviews said it takes a while to start taking affect. Well, it’s been a month or so and I just don’t see a difference. I also bought the spray, that didn’t do it for her either. So I am going to give it to my parents to see if it works on their dog. It might work for some dogs, and it might’ve worked for mine if she was younger. She’s 3 years old so the pheromone might not be as effective on her as it might be on a younger dog.
I am probably going to try doggy paxil next.

I have a very curious 9 year old and he loves to examine everything. We bought some of the prepared slides and you can look at them, but nothing else. With the blank slides he is able to create his own.

These slides come in a box with tissue paper in between, and it is very easy to place something on them and observe under the microscope. They are durable, too, holding up to being dropped on the carpet a few times. (Not so well under the shoes, though. :/ ) We really enjoyed putting hair, skin, onions, paper, etc on the slides and observing them.

5 Stars Calmed my timid pup
I bought this product because my 5 month old Cane Corso was terrified of her new home and everything around her. I could not get her to walk around at all. She would lay in the corner shaking all day long (for a week until I got this). Within an hour of plugging this in she worked up the nerve to stand up and take a couple of steps towards me. Things just got better from there. I used this product for 3 months (with refills) and never had to use it again. I would recommend this product to anyone who has a problem getting a puppy to adjust to a new area. I am not sure how it works for adults but I think for a puppy being able to smell a mother dogs pheromones is enough to put them at ease.

I’ve had very good results with this product. I have a Weimaraner with seperation problems; ie. she chew’s everything this DAP does seem to work to keep her calm.

A little expensive for the end result. Not really good at anxiety or separation helper. It does make your dog feel better when at home, but the need to still have you there can be noticeable.
Will try for the 3 month period and will see how the second month of use effectiveness.

1 Star Didn’t work for me
I was very hopeful that Feliway would reduce the fighting among my 3 cats. It did not have any effect whatsoever. I used the correct number of diffusers per square footage, and I covered the whole apartment with them. I was patient, using it for 2 months to give it a fair chance. Like I said, absolutely NO changes. I know of 2 other people who have also tried it after I purchased mine, and they also said they noticed no positive results. And the diffuser does have a slight burning smell when it’s plugged in. I assume it’s from the heat needed to diffuse the product, and not the product itself.

This is the type of product that I needed to wait a while before reviewing but I’d have to say it appears to work. Often the cats (I have 
congregate around the outlet where it is plugged in. Also, the cats have definitely calmed down and are being friendlier towards each other, especially one cat that I had to use a tiny tranquilizer on because of an adjustment problem. I have bought some refills and intend to continue using it to see if the effects continue.

We have four cats, one of whom is a very moody female. She tends to pick specifically on another female. The Feliway Dispenser has caused a distinct difference in her negative behaviour; she fights less, is more affectionate with us and the other cats, and generally seems more content. That’s worth a lot to us.

We have a male cat and a female cat that do not get along. Each was urinating outside the litter box(we have 4 boxes emptied daily). We were on the verge of taking desparate action to resolve the problem. We tried this product as a last resort. After 1 month we have not had a urinating issue. The cats seem calmer. The male is even more affectionate than he was before. We are ordering the refills and keeping the cats…for now.

4 Stars Great Product, but wrong color …
The only thing wrong with this product is that my fountain is black — my old pump was black and the new pump is all black — except the handle (the only part visible when assembled) is white. They never gave a chance to specify color, so I had to take what I could get.
In any case my old pump lasted about 6 years, running 24/7, so I figure that’s pretty darned good.
I am happy with this product.
4 Stars Clean your pump first!
My pump had stopped working…I read the comments on here before purchasing a new one and highly recommend that you go through the cleaning process available on the petmate website. I removed the magnetic impeller and it was crusted over with minerals. Once I removed those and reassembled the pump, it works like a charm. So, this is probably a great replacement, but you might not need it just yet.

The first pump I received was noisy, but when I called the store, they replaced it and paid shipping for the return. The replacement pump is as quiet as the original, which is to say you can’t hear it. The pump seems to pump quite a bit more water than the original. I am very satisfied with the replacement pump.

4 Stars better than other stuff I bought
My black lab started shaking her head a lot. We bought some stuff from a local pet store to clean her ears, and it didn’t help. We bought some stuff that’s supposed to treat for mites, which seemed to help, but that didn’t last. My dog hated getting these things put in her ears.
In a last ditch effort, I bought this product after reading some positive reviews online. At first, my dog was very apprehensive and didn’t want me getting anywhere near her with this. I had to catch her and hold her down to put this stuff in her ears. Apparently, she likes it a lot more than the earlier stuff, because she’ll let me put this in her ears now (she still doesn’t seem thrilled about it, just doesn’t run away like she did).
After a few days of treating her ears with this product, there was a noticeable decrease in her head shaking, and the odor that came from one of her ears is no longer there. So, all in all, I think this product worked very well for me.
As for the seller, I had no problems there, either. I placed my order and received my product in a timely manner. I was satisfied with the transaction, and would buy from the same seller again without hesitation.

My dog’s ears have never looked so pink! She was plagued with ear infection after ear infection until I started using Zymox Otic in her ears approx. once a week. She has not had an ear infection since. Would highly recommend this product.

My coon hound was getting continued ear infections and nothing worked. Finally I found Zymox and the ear infection cleared up entirely within 7 days. I used for 10 days to be sure. Now I use the rinse weekly. Zymox is the answer.

4 Stars does what it’s supposed to
Keeps the fleas and ticks off my shih tzu. Only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that she has a reaction resulting in a little diarrhea every time. Only lasts for a day so it’s not a huge deal.
5 Stars Great for Jack Russells
After inheriting 2 Jack Russell puppies (one deaf) from our youngest son (with a promise of grandkids one day) we are trying to adapt to inside dogs. We tried several other *get rid of those darn fleas* remedies including Advantage. It seemed like with the other products, as soon as we bathed them, the flea protection went down the drain also.
Frontline Plus is the FIRST one to work more than a few days or not cause an allergic reaction.
We took the pups to a doggy park and could see fleas jumping from another dog. As soon as we left we checked our pups and found not one flea.
I also ordered The Frontline Plus cat version for our three cats and none had reactions or any fleas now.

5 Stars Miracle in a Bottle!
This product is a true miracle for any dog owner who has watched their pet suffer with chronic ear problems. Our cocker spaniel Jack has always battled red, inflamed, itchy and sore ears. He would scratch, shake his head, rub his head against objects and groan; he was miserable. We spent quite a bit of money at the vet for drops and cleaners that did very little to releive this condition, and Jack hated the treatment; hiding from us when it was time to clean his ears.
After reading all the reviews we tried Zymox with hydrocortizone: after the very first treatment we could see that the inflamation and redness had lessened, and each day his ears got better and better. Within the first week Jack began to come happily when called to do his ears! I couldn’t believe it! He knew the treatment was helping and couldn’t wait for me to put the drops in. The infection is completely gone; no more redness, pain, itching or odor. I keep some on hand for any recurrance and have recommended it to our family and friends.
This product WILL solve your dog or cats’ ear problems, for less that the cost of one trip to the vet. You will never regret this purchase, and you’ll have a happy, pet with healthy ears.

My mixed-breed, long coated dog has a lot of hair around his ears is has chronic yeast infections. I was sick of paying over $100-$200 every time he got an ear infection. I did some research online & found many people praising this product. So I got it. Worked wonders. His infection was bad but it did the trick. He just got another infection so we just purchased another bottle. This time we got the 4oz bottle so we always have it around!

Our black lab/chesepeake bay mix always got chronic ear infections. We were told by our vet it was due to yeast & allergies. Seems the vet would prescribe a pricey antibiotic, the ear would clear up and then return. We spent numerous dollars on office visits and meds, but no relief for our dog. After researching on line I came across the reviews for Zymox and decided to give it a try. WOW! What a difference. Within 2 days our lab wasn’t shaking, pawing or itching his ears. There was no more smell, no redness and no discomfort. Best stuff I have purchased and far surpasses all the medication my vet prescribed. Not to mention cheaper AND my dog doesn’t have to go through the stress of the office visit and being manhandled by rough vet techs.
5 Stars Zymox works great for hairy dogs!
I have a 4 year old maltepoo that has been struggling with chronic ear infection for ever. I am told by my vet that her ears would be a challenge for the rest of her life, which is normal for hairy dogs that have tons of hair in their ears.
While using ear cleanser and getting rid of the hair in the ear didn’t always work, Zymox worked great for her. By the end of first week of treatment, the odor and redness were gone. Of course with my dog’s condition (hairy ears), the problem keeps coming back as the hair grows back, but I find Zymox to be a wonderful alternative to antibiotics and it can actually keep her ears clear for a long time.
One thing that I encourage you to do is to read the instruction carefully. It’s pretty easy to follow, you just have to remember to wipe off all the excess gel from the outside of the ear, as instructed on the bottle. I learned from my experience that leaving Zymox on the skin (outside of the ear canal) can cause dryness and irritation.

My jack russell had chronic ear infections. After using Zymox with hydrocortisone every day for 10 days, the infections completely cleared. She started to get symptoms of the infection again one month later. I started to use the Zymox and it cleared once again. I’d highly recommend this product.
